Aa to Zz Child Care and Learning Center at 40 South John Street, Hummelstown, Pennsylvania.

My two young children attended this center for approximately three months before I decided to make a switch. The facility is poorly maintained, dirty and insecure. The staff was exceedingly rude to me. One of my children was being bullied by one of the children of a staff member and I was constantly receiving incident reports regarding my child's "poor behavior". I inquired about what was being done regarding the other child and was hand-waved away until I went to the director and even then, I was treated as though my concerns were trivial. The director is seemingly clueless as to what is going on in her center and always seemed completely overwhelmed with actually handling the staff at the center.

The only reason I am leaving two stars instead of one is because one of the instructors, Damien (sp?), had always been outstanding when I dealt with him. The way he interacts and treats all the children is the gold standard for what I expect to see in child care. If I could pick him up and bring him to my kids' current center, I would in a heartbeat. Come to U-Gro, Damien!

Otherwise, I would strongly recommend staying far away from this center unless you're just looking for a cheap place to dump your kids all day and don't care how they or you are treated.
